The New 'Do

I got my hair cut yesterday, and I originally only wanted a trim and shorter bangs. However, I changed my mind all of a sudden and told the hair stylist to cut of quite more than I had originally planned. Here's what the new cut looks like:

And a better picture:
It's really more of a mid-length bob than a blunt cut bob, but I really love it. I will possibly never grow it out and just continue trimming and cutting so that it stays this length.

The weather in Taipei has been so bizarre lately. It's been simultaneously raining while the sun is shinning, which is actually quite normal for Taiwan, I've heard. However, this is definitely a weird change from the beautiful California weather that I have been in for the past month. Here are two photos of today's sky. You can't really tell it's raining, but it is:

I Made a Flickr!

Hello everyone!

Just a quick update... I made a Flickr account! (After a careful deal with my friend, Julia, who in exchange is making a blog)

If you want to see my Flickr, click here.

Please add me as a contact and comment on my photos!

For all of you who are wondering, I shoot all of my photos with my Lomography Diana Mini Lomo Camera, iPhone 3GS Camera (rarely, but I do), and a Canon Digital Camera.

I am getting a new, higher quality digital camera soon. If any of you have any suggestions please comment below. Try to keep the price between the range of $100 to around $1,000 USD. My parents are getting one for my birthday (in November) and I don't want to overwhelm them with a over the top camera. Just remember, high quality cameras! Perferably a Canon or Leica, but any other brands or models will do just fine.

Thank you for helping me out!

Analog Love

Many of you have probably met my Diana Mini (in my opinion, the best lomography creation on the market at the moment, apart from Dorophy Tang's limited edition Qing Hua Diana F+) However, my love for the plastic beast didn't just stop at the purchase of my Diana; it seems to continue on.

Recently, I popped into Taipei's Studio A (an Apple retailer) to get my iPhone skinned (or pimped out, in simpler terms). I also desperately needed a new screen protector, so tonight was the night that I went to get my iPhone makeover.

This is the result of my brand new iPhone SkinJam:

Before....

...and AFTER!

A regular SkinJam that is applied directly to the appliance (in my case, iPhone) is really expensive, so I opted for a plain case and then asked them to SkinJam that instead of my iPhone. The total only came up to 790 NT, which is a far cry for the normal 2000 NT+ price tag.

I couldn't help to put this picture up:

They seem to have bonded pretty well :)

Pour Me Your Wine.

Forever 21 and Danny Roberts have come out with a debut (and limited edition) T shirt range! If you don't know who Danny Roberts is, CLICK HERE to visit his blog. I purchased two of the t shirts from this range, and to be quiet honest, they are pretty expensive ($15 dollars each)

Thank you mom for letting me have your Prada purse :) It's very small, but very adorable, and since I don't carry around that much, it's the ideal, everyday purse.

This purse is very old! (Quote my mom "older than me") but it's kept in brilliant condition.

Ooh how I love tortoise shell. And the Prada sign. And leather bags.

♥.

All Things Blue

Random tag/post on all the things I could think of that were blue (in my room, that is)

1. Ikea Tromsnes Day Bed: The bed that's in my room and matches the color of my walls!

2. Ikea Ofelia Skal Quilt Cover: The bedding on my wonderful day bed.

3. Capri Blue Aloha Orchid Candle: A very nice candle that I bought while I was on summer holiday in Los Angeles. Smells like orchids (well, of course) and other floral notes.

4. Blue Latern: From a furniture and deco shop on Zhong Shan North Road, Tien Mu, Section 7. It really stands out in my room because of it's shade :)

5. Jean Paul Gaultier Exhibit Poster: This is from the exhibit I went to before summer holiday. The exhibit was at the National Arts Museum in Taipei.

7. (Really old) Juicy Couture Charm bracelet box and Tiffany & Co. Box: Both about the same color.... my wall are a mix between Tiffany blue and sky blue.

8. The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold: Best book ever! I think I've read it over 5 times which is really saying something.

9. Blueberry Body Butter from the Body Shop: Smells LUSH AND AMAZING. This body butter was 50% on my recent trip to Los Angeles :D and of course, since I love blueberries, I had to get it.

10. Diana Mini Box: Came with the Diana Mini, two informational books, and an awesome neck strap and lens cap.

11., 12. 13 Nailpolishes: (From L to R) NYC Skin Tight Denim Creme Enamel, NYX Juliette, Canmake random light blue color.

AND FINALLY...

14. John Lennon Wooden Photograph: It's going on my wall and it's going on proud ;)

I tag Y-O-U
to be blue! (chessy, but i had to say it)

New Header and Theme? (Pretty Little Things Version 4.5)

Does everyone like my new header and rather blase white background? I got rid of the rather annoying beach background and my old header... I think the blog looks so much better this way (clean cut and simple). What do you all think? Which of Pretty Little Thing's metamorphoses do you enjoy the most?

-Adrienne.

*Oh yes! Forgot to mention the switch from burnt orange on the title posts that mysteriously transfixed itself to a plum-y shade.
